The site for NMAETC was a very challenging project from a navigation perspective. They have as many as four levels of navigation at times and we needed a way to get users to all of that content.
I built CSS & JavaScript drop downs for the top level navigation and pop-outs for the side navigation. PHP keeps all the page content areas separate for easy updating. All of their pages were coded by hand to make sure the copy was properly displayed. Google’s free calendar service was used to hold information on their upcoming training events.
They requested very large forms to get data from their clients and staffers. All forms were built to be accessible and usable by everyone regardless of any possible disabilities and conform to all legal accessibility standards.
The agency or client have made some changes to the home page that seem to have broken the layout a bit and compromised the accessibility, but the rest of the site looks like it’s still in good shape. Check it out at http://www.nmaetc.org/.
